What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is an active approach to recovery of the body while taking into account each individual’s own needs. Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual, a recovery plan will take into account past injuries – small and large, old and new, emotional and cognitive stressors, lifestyle choices, and the end goal – what you want to achieve.
To establish a successful outcome, the initial visit is focused on identifying the source(s) of the problem and the contributing factors to the symptoms. This is followed by treatment and exercises to begin the healing process. A plan of action will also be outlined and how long it will take to achieve the goal.

What can Physiotherapy do for you?
Physiotherapy is effective in restoring mobility, eliminating pain and keeping you active. We take a hands on approach to release muscle tension, free up “stuck” joints, and activate muscles for effective results. This is then reinforced with movements that reduce your pain, strengthen and increase your overall mobility.
